Kicking Off the Community Mobility Cooperatives Project in Ljubljana

Last week, we gathered in Ljubljana for a 2-day kick-off meeting for our new project “Community Mobility Co-operatives“, as part of the European Climate Initiative (EUKI). The event brought together a passionate group of experts and partners to lay the foundation for the impactful work ahead of us.

During the meeting, we explored several crucial aspects of the project. We reviewed the overall objectives and outcomes, focusing on how we can bring electric mobility solutions to North Macedonia, Serbia, Slovenia, and Romania. We also discussed the development of a Community Mobility Co-operative Model, designed to support local communities to drive sustainable transport solutions. We also highlighted the importance of raising awareness and offering training to equip communities with the knowledge and tools needed for long-term success and impact.

We are excited about the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on communities across these countries alongside our partners Korimako, Energy Cities Romania, Platform for Energy Transition and University of Ljubljana as Project Coordinator. This project holds incredible potential for creating positive change, and we’re committed to creating cleaner, more sustainable mobility solutions that will benefit both people and the planet.

This project is part of the European Climate Initiative (EUKI) of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK).
